Thank you Karen, those are very kind and inspirational words. I was able to pull a few articles together since then and I would not exactly be forthcoming if I failed to mention that I still feel some of that. That's the reality and we all must face it. And we have to make ourselves and make things to look forward to, bend reality so to speak. And we will and are, so thank you again!

It has certainly had it's effect on my will to deal with the many in this field who are completely sold. Everything is different now and the effect will ripple out through the rest of our lives. And yet as astrologers, (at least some of us, however few) still SEE. What I see is that the permissive pig of 2019/2020 yielding to the reflection of a metal Rat of 2020/2021 culminating with the rooted totalitarian metal OX of 2021/2022, finally ends with a new season of the water Tiger 2022/2023. Remember the Tiger is ALL YANG! So, this means justice in my mind and the right kind of male energy. We will see this in our lifetime. The Yang Water from Heaven will wash away the garbage and those permissive to evil. This is a reckoning and a retribution like nothing we have ever seen before and and when it's over the good trees will still be standing and a new world will begin to take shape. Thanks again,

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, this has been something of an off and on journey for some time now. When I launched the site, I had the specific intention of engagement with clients and other interested people within the realm of astrology in general, however I found myself going into a Four Pillars journey without realizing it in a practical way as it was unplanned. So, there has been much less engagement in the way that I thought originally, but perhaps it is happening out there somewhere in the ether and I just am not that aware of it. But the journey continues as the Elements offer a way to THINK that comes into play oftentimes throughout my life. The system is a gift--and even in a basic way can be comprehended and interpreted by almost anyone, as Dr. Lily Chung has stated in her works. Hopefully it will be more than a reference hub, that is, when I can gather the inspiration, time and space to work with it a little more. Thanks again,

Thank you also Thaddeus for drawing attention to this insane bs plandemic that has disrupted so many lives, traumatized so many trusting people, and actually hastened the death and demise of many elderly people through the closing (and quarantining) of so many help centers and churches in the name of 'Safety" . I continue to be disgusted with it, the general idea of vaccination abhorrent, and unproven. yes I have devoured all the material on whale.to, and reccommend it to you.

It is perfectly fine to fall into Black Holes, artistic and creative people tend to fall into depressions pretty regularly. I am a writerly Rat, and I know that I do.

I specifically searched out your site today after reading through a copy of your site (signsinlife) thyat I had uploaded to a flash drive. It is that good. No one else (online) writes of the Three Crosses, or Six Life Palaces, or even Six Circles of Conflict as you have. I have never even found one other site on line to even mention them, in my cursory searching. But I have been surfing online for eleven years seeking informtion about the Chinese Horoscope, and speak and make reference to the ChiScope regularly. All of which is to tell you that your work here has gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

you truly seem to your know your subject.

The site that got me originally really engaged with the ChiScope was a called ofesite.com, that no longer exists. It was very engaging, not least because it was well written, but directed my attention to the Compatabilities between signs that I found to be astoundingly (and empirically even, in my experience) accurate.

Thank you for keeping this site up as a reference hub.

Alex, I've got to wonder how you handle the metal resource element in your life. Metal is the resource element in the month pillar which can represent the parents, with the stem representing the father. Did you compete with one parent (yin water) while at the same time getting the support from the other, or was the support taken in a sense by the other parent? Was one of your grandfathers more supportive of you? There's also hidden metal in the dog and the snake, so perhaps the Monkey, Rooster and Dog months are better for you (Autumn)? Just curious. Thanks for writing about this. The answer is yes and no. Yes, in the sense that the month pillar is always a part of the chart and is always taken into consideration regardless of where the person is in their luck cycle. No, in the sense that an "additional heap" of the month pillar's energies will be affecting the person because their month pillar has not changed and they are still in that part of the luck cycle. That is why the luck cycle starts at the age that the person changes to the next 10 year period.

There is a possibility that the particular energy of the branch might display more prominently prior to the beginning of the luck cycle, thus changing pillars in the luck cycle in the normal way, but now we're back to the idea that there is "more" of the month pillar energy than usual because it's technically in the luck cycle. And yet this is not the way that it is traditionally displayed. And to be honest, nothing has changed yet, so why should it? I suppose that you could experiment with the theory yourself and ask others to see what they say.

What I can say, though, is that doing the full calculation for the year and month, rather than rounding off to the year is a better option and will reveal critical timing indicators, when someone moves between stem and branch and from branch to stem in the 5 year periods. These appear to be times of crisis and searching for the client. I hope that this helps, let me know what you think.

May I know how do we analyse a Bazi Chart for the first 7 years of reading if the first Luck Cycle begins at the age of 8?
Do we analyse the first 7 years reading based on the Month's Pillar of the Natal Chart?

Thank you for this first answer: YES-- the past 4 years have been possibly the worst in my life, at least as far as I can remember. There have been moments when things looked that they might turn but ultimately never did. It is largely because of this overall dissatisfaction with how things have been going that I decided that make this radical change: move to another country and quit my job in academia --and will possibly have to change my field of work as a consequence.

At some level I blamed the negativity in my life on the energy of the place I've been in (in the Mid-Atlantic area), but if I'm reading you right it might have actually been because of the timing -- the metal resulting from the conjecture of the ox-cycle with the snake in my chart. You also said there's a rooster in my chart -- but that I don't see; also the snake I thought was in my year and month (not day) pillars --at least from the charts generated for me on geomancy.com (can't copy it here unfortunately).
So is there hope of a positive change in 2015 with the commencing Yang metal cycle or, as it's another metal cycle, will it be a further drain on my self (is the self the day master? yin fire/bing in my case?)

Finally to recap my info:
male, May 20th 1977, 7:10PM
move West to the North-Eastern US 2000 -- 10 mixed but overall good years
move (south) to PA 2010 -- 3 1/2 mostly bad years going
planned move to Pacific NorthWest (in Canada) by June

I have started to work on your chart, but again, unfortunately, I have still yet to receive an email from you. Make sure that you fill in all of the info on the contact page including a valid email address. Maybe it's filtering you out someway, I don't know. Where did you move to from Romania in the US, to what city? And to which city are you planning a move to in Canada? Canada is a big place so I need more specifics.

Since around 2010 have you felt drained? You moved in to the ox cycle that year and this combined with the snake and rooster in your chart forming more metal and draining the self. You will move into a Yang Metal cycle after that and that will be in 2015.

Also, having a snake in the year and day pillar is interesting in that in general, you will highly identify with this animal and it's friendly years and it is highly significant for you relationships as well. Let me know what you think. Thadd
